About Us

Centre for Leadership and Collaborative Development consists of senior education and social service scholars and frontline staff, including university professors, senior principals, school managers, youth service groups, and educational service organizations.

The Centre mainly provides various support to local schools. Professional services cover school governance, leadership and administration, curriculum development, technology and education, and other student learning experience planning. The Centre's services include formulating school-based development plans and evidence-based action research for schools, providing professional development for teachers and school administrators, and assisting schools in organizing student activities. We focus on blending theory and practice, and through collaboration with schools, we will jointly create a high-quality educational environment, enhance the quality of learning and teaching to promote student learning outcomes and develop professional learning communities for schools and teachers in Hong Kong. 

Centre for Leadership and Collaborative Development is an independent administrative center under Institute for Integrated Rural Development, Hong Kong, a registered public charitable organization. 

Purpose

To assist schools in promoting and practicing all-round quality education to promote social development and build a better Hong Kong.

Target

  • All-round support for the school team, providing appropriate and effective professional development training and support services for educators in all positions with equal emphasis on theory and practice.

  • To provide a communication platform for schools and teachers to develop as a professional learning community.

  • To explore students' strengths through a participatory learning model, cultivate students' good character and enhance their future skills.
