After filling in the Direct Debit Authorization Form, please mail the original form to our office: Flat 2C, TLP132, 132-134 Tai Lin Pai Road, Kwai Chung, N.T., Hong Kong.
Receipt will be issued for donation of HK$100 or above for tax exemption purpose. Those donating monthly could receive IRD’s yearly receipt by the end of every April with the total amount that the donor donated in a year.

• Since copied form is not accepted by bank, please directly mail us the original copy of the filled form;
• Amendments and corrections on the authorization form are not accepted by banks;

• The first three digits of account number are usually the branch number. For instance, with reference to IRD’s Hang Seng Bank account number: 222-8-025918, the branch number for our account is 222. Please also be reminded that it is unnecessary to fill in the account number with “-“. Therefore, you can fill in the account on the Autopay Authorization Form as follows:
  
  
• You should fill in the amount that you would like to donate in the following box alike. Since the practice for each bank may differ, we will cross out the inappropriate for you;
  
• You can leave the column “Debtor’s Reference“ blank and we will fill this up afterwards;
• For those who opt for an education sponsorship programme, the information of the student receiving your donation will be sent to you after the competence of autopay application;
• You can set a deadline to terminate the autopay and renew it annually. As bank’s administrative work takes at least a month, it is recommended that the deadline should be set a year and a month after mailing the form. For instance, if the authorization form was completed on 30 August 2013, you could set the deadline as 30 September 2014;
• IRD usually transfers your donation on or before second Friday of each month;
• IRD mails the official receipt to donors who make monthly donation in every April, if no special request is received. The receipt lists the total amount of donation IRD had received in that financial year (from 1 April to 31 March);
• The account to be credited is IRD’s Hang Seng Bank account (Account number: 222-050874-001).
